PRP intrauterine Wash
Your IVF clinic may recommend a PRP wash. Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a concentrated blood product with a high percentage of platelets that may improve the uterine lining and enhance endometrial receptivity prior to an IUI or IVF cycle. PRP washes are most commonly done for people who have had recurrent implantation failures over several IVF cycles. During a PRP wash, a few milliliters of PRP are infused into the uterus through a small catheter. You will then rest with the catheter in place for around 10 minutes before it is removed and you can resume normal activity.
