Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a condition in which tissue that forms the lining of the inside of the uterus is found outside of the uterine cavity. This can cause painful periods, generalized pelvic pain, painful bowel movements, pain with sex, and infertility. The only way to know for sure that you have endometriosis is through surgery. However, you can still be treated for endometriosis based off of your symptoms. Treatment for endometriosis includes medication, surgery, or sometimes both.
